ABOUT

I live in Tasman, Nelson New Zealand and my interest in oils spans over 40 years having started painting in my late teens.
Photo-realism’ best describes my style and I strive to recreate artwork as close as possible to the original picture. The subject matter I enjoy painting most are land and seascapes,of the Tasman region along with various fauna and flora”.

I love the vastness and mystery of landscapes and local scenes of the Tasman/Nelson region are my favorite subject. When exploring the beautiful ‘top of the south’ of New Zealand where I live it is seldom that I do not stop and take numerous photos; to later paint in my studio at home.
